our friendship will never die
I am afraid of saying such a thing, because I do not know what will be going on after 10 years or later, but sometimes I am confident of the true friendship.
Yesterday, I met a friend living in London. She is only one who still keep in touch with over 10 years, and the last time I saw her was about 7years ago in Tokyo. Both of us had never imagined that we would become art students nor would meet in London. As we have hardly known what we were doing these days each other, I thought we might be odd, and she said so did she. The worry was totally needless, and we enjoyed chatting.
Although the main purpose of the trip was meeting friends, I could go to a couple of exhibitions, one is Ballgowns in V&A museum, and the other is Valentino: Master of Couture at Somerset House. Both exhibition was just amazing. I wish I were the one who embroidered on the dresses.

My friend told me an interesting photographer. I loved his work.

green and orange
I stayed in the studio for quite long time today, but nothing new happened to me. This is because everything I have done today was what I had done before.
However, for some reason, it was good day today.

can you paint with all the colour of the wind
I have been to Ireland for 6 days, from October 28th to November 2nd. I did not imagine that I would be in Ireland in this halloween, though I was wishing to be there one day.
The main event of the trip was the Knitting and Stitching Show held at Dublin, but now I can say that I really enjoyed throughout the trip.
I remembered that in the last year my tutor said that 'inspiration is in everywhere' before going on a study trip to London. Actually, when you are in a new place, you will find it impossible to be not inspired by anything. At least I can't!
Inspiration will never have best-before dates...store it up for yourself.

I feel this week is gonna be good
It was a very good day today.
Good beginning of the week!
First of all, a weaving workshop has started from today, and I really enjoyed it, although I didn't think that I need to use brain to weave—even if the pattern has already been made. To be honest, weaving was less interesting one in 4 disciplines (weave, print, knit, embroidery) for me, but I quite liked it.
The next is, I saw the first-year textiles tutor and technician by chance. I hardly see them after I became the 2nd year, and I have been missing them so much. Yet I could talk to them only few words, I'm happy with seeing them.
Thirdly, my Japanese friend who is working in glasgow after graduated GSA architecture came my flat and give me & my flatmate home-baked sweets.
The last one is that I've got less regret for my day today. It makes happiness twice.
As I have more energy than usual, I uploaded photos which were taken in the south of England in the summer holiday.
I would like to show you some of them.

If I could work at a studio like here, it'd be wonderful.
I think I still like lamp and street views in twilight.

quiet weeks
Basically I'm not an active person, then I'm spending time on walking around neighbourhood or staying at home, rather than going to the city centre and hunting some hot stuff at department stores' clearance sale in this summer. sigh! I'm a such loser! neither wanna be a girl devoting herself to big-name brands' stuff though. how economical 20-year-old girl I am.
For some reasons, recently I have been doing embroidery for my friend.
As it wasn't a school project, I decided the design freely and less considerately, as usual, but I found something out later. Although I haven't got any colour palette nor rough sketches, the colour and some other elements are obviously influenced by photos that I took within the last few weeks.
Colour combinations and other elements that I found interesting might remain in my brain and reflected to my design.
I knew that is important to look for anything interesting and beautiful at anytime in anywhere, so that it helps me in some future.

Largs
I took a day trip to Largs with friends today. The weather forecast said that it would be cloudy today, but actually it was extremely beautiful day. We got train from Glasgow central station, rode on a ferry, and then got on a bus to get to city, and hired bikes for cycling.
Everything I've seen was beautiful.
It was the best day-trip ever, and I really thank to friends who invited me to this.
