beginning of the summer holiday

Many things happened in only few weeks. Obviously that was too hard to me who cannot manage time well, but I still could find beauty people and beauty stuff.

The degree show has begun!

Largs

I took a day trip to Largs with friends today. The weather forecast said that it would be cloudy today, but actually it was extremely beautiful day. We got train from Glasgow central station, rode on a ferry, and then got on a bus to get to city, and hired bikes for cycling.

Everything I've seen was beautiful.

It was the best day-trip ever, and I really thank to friends who invited me to this.

End of Year Exhibition

was really nice. It was good to see other courses' projects as I didn't see them while I was doing mine. 

There're photos of the exhibition and schoolmates' pieces which I especially liked including a couple of images from their sketchbooks.

To watch someone's sketchbook is very interesting because I feel like I'm looking into his/her head, and I can know how their ideas have come up with and developed. I saw many people have done amazing work, and am so happy to be in the same school and the same year with them.

lovely days in Glasgow

I can't believe that here is in Glasgow. We all appreciate the sunshine, and it shows beautiful views in the daytime & the twilight. Actually now is the best season ever after I came here.

and then, I'm spending time on stitching, again.

4 final pieces and few explorations

My final four pieces are not like the primary ideas nor secondary ideas. The exploration in this time is, the best one in my first year projects, I think. The each piece is quite simple and small but I'm happy with them, and it also means that I'm satisfied with it as a final project of this year.

The final review was really good, although I thought I needed more preparation for speaking, but classmates, tutors and even my sketchbook helped me to explain what I did. Friends' work were so nice, as usual, and it is interesting to see what they've done during the project, differences of colour palettes, and where the key shapes come from.
